The Venomers

Well, what can be said about The Venomers that they haven’t said themselves. Really, this is a group of guys that have a lot to say, and say it without swearing. It’s refreshing to see a band so transparent with quotes like ” THE VENOMERS WILL PLAY THEIR INSTRUMENTS AT YOU. THEY WILL PLAY THEM ALL UP IN YOUR FACE – ONCE YOU HAVE HAD THE VENOMERS DO THEIR INSTRUMENT MAGIC ALL UP IN YOUR FACE YOU WILL HAVE ENJOYED THE VENOMERS” it makes covering The Venomers easy, and I love it. And that’s a big part of them, love ” The Venomers love everybody, The Venomers are your friends. It’s all love” And the Venomers love talking about The Venomers in third person which makes me smile. And The Venomers favorite Spice Girl is Sporty “The God of Rock’n’Roll (me) favours sporty spice because of her post spice song with Bryan Adams. It captures the essence of loneliness like few songs before or since”

Almost forgot! They just happen to play music, and I dig it quite a bit. It would not feel in the spirit of The Venomers to compare The Venomers to any other bands so I’ll just say its some good old school punk well played and written that deserves your attention.
