Sky Goes On, The Follow-Up LP from SET THE CHARGE

By William Pace

The New York-based band released their first EP back in 2015 entitled Auditory Insemination. Set The Charge is a four piece band with Anthony (guitar/vocals), Tom (guitars), Frank (drums), and Derek (bass). You might have seen them on AXS TV’s Breaking Band where they worked with Robin Zander of Cheap Trick. Their first LP is out now, and is entitled SKY GOES ON. It will feature 12 tracks, one of which is available now through the bandcamp app, and is called Everything But Me. You can also see the video for the lead track on YouTube or on their Facebook page. You need to check this band out. They have a great sound, and Anthony’s vocal are dynamic and powerful.

I give this album 9/10
