The Showdown is written by Russ Lippitt the author of Lions Share & F.T.W. The Complete Tome of the Anarchy March. Volume one of “The Showdown”which is the prelude was drawn by: Tony Guaraldi-brown (The Final Plague & Death Jump) and Volume two was drawn by:Ezequiel Pineda (Hunter Prey & Mars: God of War). It’s West Side Story meets Death Race 2000! If you love grindhouse you’ll love this series! Satan holds this race once a millennium and as they say to victor goes the spoils. In this case the winner gets to come back to rain down Hell on Earth! An interesting array of characters including monsters, werewolves, vampires & zombies! Driving the baddest muscle cars and motorcycles all tricked out to ensure their victory, and their only way out of Hell! I really dug the art style makes the book flow perfectly. If you can’t get along then it’s time to get it on!
