Romancer the Stone

By William Pace

With an infusion of multifaceted influences, Romancer is going to explode with HoneyBee, a new EP dropping on November 24, 2017. Don’t miss the release. You’ll regret it if you do!

Romancer is a four-piece Ambient Punk Rock band from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Consisting of Nathan Cumber, Ben Abu Halaga-Dilgert, Adam Horrocks, and Riley O’Donnell, these guys have one goal in mind–bringing their fans a unique sound that captures soft intimacy and explosive aggressiveness, something I believe they’ve done with “Nausicaa,” the first single to drop from their new EP titled HoneyBee. This is their first album since their debut LP back in 2016 titled As We Both Close In On The Water.

The band is frequently touring and growing their fanbase, not just in Canada but the U.S., Mexico, and Japan, to name a few. One of their upcoming tours includes the HoneyBee Release Tour with pfloog starting on November 25, 2017. Check them out live if you can. You’ll be impressed just as I was. The energy they exude on stage is refreshing. I’m a fan already and can’t wait for this new EP to drop so I can add it to my personal playlist.

I’ll give their first single “Nausicaa” a 10/10!

“Honeybee is our most lyrically honest and experimental release to date. I am so proud of us this time around, and I can say with confidence that we’ve all reached into the depths of our musicality and creativity to bring out the best in each other and this record.” -Romancer

Follow the band on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or on their website!
