The Showdown is written by Russ Lippitt, the author of Lion’s Share and F.T.W. The Complete Tome of the Anarchy March. Volume one, which is the prelude, was drawn by Tony Guaraldi-brown (The Final Plague & Death Jump) and volume two was drawn by Ezequiel Pineda (Hunter Prey and Mars: God of War).

Satan holds this race once a millennium. To the victor goes the spoils, and in this case, the winner gets to come back to rain down Hell on Earth! An interesting array of characters—including monsters, werewolves, vampires, and zombies—drive the baddest muscle cars and motorcycles, all tricked out to ensure their victory: their only way out of Hell!
I really dug the art style and it made the book flow perfectly. If you can’t get along, then it’s time to get it on!
