PunkHouse Press Presents “FAKE NEWS” is a DIY-centric comic, music, and political Zine that looks to truly cover the underground arts. We believe in the inclusiveness and the open minded mentality of the punk ideology, and are looking to publish your comics, short stories, scene reports, columns, articles, rants, interviews, and more!
“FAKE NEWS” is a community effort, a collaborative mutant by many like-minded individuals. It will forever be an evolving project, and needs people like you to help make it as awesome as possible! We are currently accepting and considering any and all submissions for publication.
In addition to all of the aforementioned things we are looking for, we have a few specific contributions we are looking for as well:
Columnists – We need dedicated columnists to contribute weekly content to our website, social media, the bi-monthly digital edition of “Fake News” as well as the quarterly print magazine. We encourage anyone from any location in the world to contribute. If you’re interested, please send us a sample column and a list of three (3) topics you’d like to cover in the future.
Film and Photo – Photographers, please send us five (5) of your best images for consideration. Filmmakers, send us your reels! We wanna know what you’re working on! Keep in touch with us via your submissions. We are looking for anything relating to the punk scene, political, and/or urban decay, city life, graffiti, etc. If YOU THINK it’s worth publishing, WE WANT to see it!
SUBMITTING CONTENT: If you are wanting to write or contribute columns, articles, interviews, photos, art, comics, whatever… please do! We guarantee we will look over every submission.
PUBLICATION IS NOT GUARANTEED.
Just because you send us something does not mean we will automatically publish it. We will always consider it, but we do not guarantee any publication.
We will also not review any racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise bigoted material.
We won’t even give it a bad review. We will just destroy it and move on. Bad press is still press and we won’t assist you in that.
