PunkHouse Press is a Tampa-based anarcho-punk imprint of CAE Studios, LLC. Established in 2017, PunkHouse Press publishes nationally distributed comic books, a not-for-profit, politically driven Zine of the punk subculture, as well as releasing and distributing Punk, Ska, and Hardcore music, in addition to a fashion line (Khan Kat Limited). “Corporate Comics Suck!” is the imprints slogan.
PunkHouse Press focuses on the subculture surrounding punk rock. The projects being released via Punkhouse Press will be built around freedom of expression, individuality, and creativity. PHP embraces and respects others beliefs, ideas, feelings, and identities. (Except for Nazi’s. Dead Kennedy’s said it best. “Nazi Punks fuck off!”)
The mentality behind being punk is to not judge but to listen to others. Contrary to popular beliefs, punks CARE. Punks aren’t the lazy, careless sods society leads you to believe they are. Punks take action…may it be for human rights, animal liberation, anti-war, anti-racism, anti-capitalism, or all of them together.
Punkhouse Press Magazine will focus primarily on comic strips and short stories as well as artist interviews and music reviews. Op/ed columns and news roundups, including submissions from international contributors.
