Low Morale’s “Making You Better Feeling” is out now!

Cleveland melodic punk rock outfit Low Morale’s album

“Making You Better Feeling” is streaming everywhere and features 8 tracks of melodic, emo-tinged punk rock that’s as catchy as it is cathartic.

Vocalist Justin Vaughn and guitarist Steve Sherman formerly shared bills with acts like The Falcon, Iron Chic, Off With Their Heads, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, War On Women, and Direct Hit with their former project, Blacklister, eventually being approached by Man Overboard’s Nik Bruzzese, interested in producing the band.

In late 2019 they decided it was time for a fresh start. Justin and Steve wrote and recorded their upcoming album themselves as Low Morale, then recruited a rhythm section in drummer Kyle Rogers and bassist Brandon Sopiecha.

With lines like “Sometimes it feels like I’m not even here like I’m half ghost and half real or a masterpiece unframed on the floor”, the anthemic yet dark outfit has been compared to seminal melodic punk rock/emo hybrids like Alkaline Trio, Saves the Day and Jawbreaker. Bridging the gaps between west coast skate punk, east coast emo, and rust belt gruff, they bring both nostalgia and something new to the table.
